Inspired by Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, the pen name of Charles Dodgson. While enjoying a lovely trip in a rowing boat, the two young Liddle sisters listen to Mr Dodgson's amazing story about a girl called Alice, like one of the sisters. The girl in the story falls asleep under a tree and wakes up suddenly because a rabbit, looking at his watch, grumbles that he's late.
