La Galera is a prestigious publishing house founded in Barcelona in 1963. With a back list of over 1,000 titles, La Galera enjoys a strong reputation among librarians, booksellers and in the pedagogical community where it is often nominated for the children's literature prizes. We have created new collections of novels, in both Catalan and Spanish. Luna Roja is our label that identifies the novels that track the young people’s literary fashions on the market, be they paranormal romances, dystopias, thrillers or urban fantasies. Bridge is, as its name indicates, the crossover collection, what all editors have been seeking for many years: novels that appeal to both young people and adults. Kimera is the fantasy imprint. With Cómic and Novela Gráfica we are also setting out on a road that any editor of children’s and young people’s books has to be on these days. Nor do we overlook the middle grade which are creating great success in the world of younger readers.
